Position Overview The Year 7 & Transition Coordinator holds a significant leadership position at the College and is required to exercise innovative, creative and purposeful leadership towards the holistic development of all students within Year 7. This includes supporting students, and their families, in their transition to joining the Cardijn community. The Year 7 & Transition Coordinator supports House Leaders in their responsibility for the Pastoral Care development, wellbeing, and academic progress of students in Year 7, supporting them to achieve their full potential. The Year 7 & Transition Coordinator supports in the case management of students to ensure their academic, pastoral, physical, and spiritual development is supported. The Year 7 & Transition Coordinator is required to develop and foster relationships with families through proactive and regular communication. In this position, the Year 7 & Transition Coordinator works closely with the Deputy Head of Campus, Director of Students, Campus Leadership, House Leaders, Homeroom Teachers and other colleagues. 
Key Responsibilities  Support Students: Manage Year 7 student development, behavior, and wellbeing.Assist Staff: Oversee attendance, academic goals, and induction of new students.Ensure Compliance: Monitor uniform, cleanliness, and College guidelines.Promote Positive Behavior: Maintain communication with families and support student leadership.Coordinate and Liaise: Work with senior staff on discipline, review pastoral care, and handle family concerns.Be Visible: Maintain an active presence within the College.
 About You Commitment to Catholic Values: Active support for the College's mission and values.Experience: Strong teaching and classroom behaviour management skills. Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.Qualifications: Current Teachers Registration in South Australia, Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education and relevant mandatory training.
