About the role We are seeking applications for the position of Year 7 Coordinator commencing in Term 3, 2024. This is a full time, fixed term parental leave replacement until the end of Term 4, 2025 with the possibility of an ongoing appointment. This is a position of leadership with a teaching load. The purpose of this role is to oversee the wellbeing care for students in their designated year level. The Year Level Coordinator builds and promotes Year Level spirit and culture being faithful to the traditions of our founders. They direct and support student leaders and foster positive relationships with families and communities to support the learning and wellbeing of students. They are the primary contact for families with respect to student wellbeing and for ensuring the appropriate communications are disseminated and responsibilities delegated to the relevant staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best practice in teaching and a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position, striving for continuous improvement in addition to bringing the required skills and experience.
