About the role Our Distribution Centre is the home to several specialist branches/teams, taking advantage of grouped logistics, repair and maintenance functions.
In the DC, we have our Access, Earthmoving & Site Service, Traffic, Pump & Power specialist businesses.
You will be responsible for supporting the operations of the DC by performing general yard duties, including:
Provide exceptional customer service at all timesAssist customers in the yard when necessaryMeet and greet customers in a proactive and friendly manner during loading/unloadingBranch facilities cleaning and maintenance as requiredEquipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections and processesEquipment cleaning, order picking in yard, collating and checking for Ready For Hire prior to loadingAbout you Successful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, trade & maintenanceForklift operator's ticket preferredA genuine interest in helping othersA level of physical fitness as required to complete role requirementsStrong communication skills including the ability to follow directions, ask questions to ensure understanding, and proactively provide information to team membersAn interest in mechanics and construction equipment and a desire to learnA valid driver's licenceJoin our team You can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
