Yard Hand with a forklift licence required for an ongoing role on the Adelaide City Fringe Yard Hand (Fork Lift licence) Your new company Our client is a national specialist equipment hire business that focuses on transparent and efficient hire solutions. They have years of experience in this industry across a range of industries including mining, oil & gas and construction. Your new role As a Yard Hand you will work as part of a large team making sure that day to day site operations are conducted safely and efficiently. Your role will include but not be limited to Load and unload fleet from vehicles, always ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures are adhered to. Clean and prepare fleet & equipment ready for hire Inspect fleet upon return and immediately report any customer fleet damage Assist with basic maintenance of non-high-risk fleet & equipment (refuelling tec) Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted Assist in maintaining effective stock control of the fleet, including assisting in stock takes and the asset disposal process What you'll need to succeed Forklift licence EWP licences & white card (not essential but are highly regarded) Good communication skills Ability to load and unload equipment from vehicles The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with a positive attitude towards workplace safety.
