Position: Yard and Recycle Labourer
Location: Knowsley - Liverpool

Shift Patterns: Two shifts

We are currently seeking a dedicated Yard and Recycle Labourer with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join our client's team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Material Handling: Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials around the yard, including loading and unloading trucks, and transporting recyclable materials to designated areas.
* Sorting and Processing: Sort and process various recyclable materials according to company guidelines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard clean and organized, including the removal of debris, sorting of materials, and general upkeep of the work area to maintain a safe working environment.
* Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain yard equipment such as compactors, balers, and conveyors, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any issues promptly.
* Inventory Management: Assist with the tracking and management of recyclable materials, including recording quantities and types of materials processed.
* Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to recycling and yard operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Valid FLT Licence: Must possess a current and valid Forklift Truck licence.
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in a recycling or yard environment is highly desirable.
* Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality are essential. Must consistently show up on time and be dependable.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours with two shift patterns available. Must be open to working overtime as required to meet operational needs.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
* Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety, with a good understanding of health and safety practices relevant to a yard and recycling environment.
* Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sorting and processing materials
