About the Role:
WSP's Social Performance Team is internationally recognized for its expertise in social impact assessment and community engagement across private industry and all levels of government. We are currently providing specialist services to a variety of projects, including renewable energy programs, mine closures, and transport and infrastructure development.
We believe that cultural heritage is intrinsic to community identity and sense of place. Understanding cultural heritage values is essential to effective design and project development. We acknowledge that decisions on how cultural heritage is managed must be led by First Nations people and cultural knowledge holders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct social impact assessments and community engagement activities. Provide specialist advice on cultural heritage management. Collaborate with First Nations people and cultural knowledge holders to ensure culturally appropriate project outcomes. Support projects in renewable energy, mine closures, and infrastructure development. About You:
We are seeking individuals with skills in archaeology, anthropology, cultural heritage management, or related fields to complement our existing social practitioner skill base. This role is an excellent development opportunity for recent graduates or early career professionals to enhance their cultural heritage skill set and develop new skills in community engagement and social impact assessment.
Qualifications:
Degree in archaeology, anthropology, cultural heritage management, or a related field. Strong interest in cultural heritage and community engagement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Why Join Us:
