Reporting to the HSE Manager - Australia East/Central, you will play a pivotal role in executing Worley's ANZ HSE strategy to deliver industry-leading professional services across the Australia East and Central regions.
You will be an integral member of the broader HSE network, collaborating across the ANZ Region to support and be hands-on with a range of projects as required by the HSE Manager – Australia East/Central.
This role will allow you to draw on your extensive HSE knowledge and experience to positively influence organisational, customer, and project stakeholders to deliver sustained HSE outcomes.
What you'll do We're looking for a highly experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our Australia East/Central team.
The role may be based out of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide.
Key role accountabilities will include but are not limited to: Working directly with business leaders and Worley Enterprise Services supporting our Sales team during priority bids and proposals. Building strong relationships with Location Directors, Functional Directors, and Managers to drive our HSE Strategy. Ensuring statutory compliance and developing HSE deliverables, whilst prioritising continuous improvement opportunities. Influencing our teams spanning our ANZ portfolios and projects. Demonstrating and championing our Worley Values, Life Saving Rules, and the underlying Worley systems, tools, and processes that ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of our people. What you'll have Proven experience in a Senior HSE Advisory role within mining, hydrocarbons, renewables, or consulting sectors. Ability to engage proactively with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong background in integrated management systems frameworks. Tertiary qualification in HSE or a related field (Degree/Advanced Diploma). Training in Return to Work/Injury Management. Qualifications in Training & Assessment. Lead Auditor Certification. First Aid/CPR certification. ICAM or equivalent Lead Investigator in Root Cause Analysis. Construction White Card. Ability to travel as required to support the AUE/AUC business, including occasional travel to various parts of Australia or New Zealand where our projects may be located.
