Workshop Technician (Perth)

We are looking for a talented Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our highly skilled team in a world-class rebuild facility. If you're passionate about working with high-horsepower engines and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.
In this position, you will specialize in rebuilding industry-leading engines ranging from 19L to 78L (600-3500Bhp). You'll enjoy working with advanced ergonomic equipment in a facility designed to support efficient, safe, and high-quality work.
What You'll Do: Rebuild high-horsepower diesel engines to 'as-new' standards for the mining sector Use cutting-edge tools and an electronic documentation system to ensure precision and consistency Maintain strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies Complete required documentation, including safety checks, process quality forms, and daily time sheets Work with a team committed to continuous improvement and high performance What We're Looking For: Trade-qualified mechanics (all relevant qualifications accepted) Experience in engine assembly (heavy equipment experience is a bonus) Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work Enjoyment of structured processes and team collaboration What's On Offer: Flexible rosters: 9-day fortnight or 4-day week Competitive salary with overtime penalties and an annual bonus program Opportunities for further training and career development Income protection insurance and discounts on health insurance, software, and vehicles Safety equipment, PPE, and uniforms provided Annual remuneration reviews and additional personal and professional benefits If you're ready to grow your career, work with innovative technology, and be part of a supportive, inclusive team, we'd love to hear from you!
