Partner with the best As Workshop Technician you will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our global customer base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral role in our business.
Salary range: AUD 75k /annum – AUD 95k/ annum
As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for: Ensuring that the necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures and qualifications are available to perform the job according to the WOP and the BH EHS standing requirements. Commissioning, running, maintaining and repairing Baker Hughes equipment. Ensuring that the workshop technicians, test equipment and the 3rd party personnel are qualified for the job they do. Ensuring that the workshop procedures cover the actual work, and that they are followed. Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all times. Ensuring that the workshop equipment, and facilities are suitable and in operational condition. Ensuring that WOP is followed, filled in with necessary information, contain correct documentation and are signed and completed. Ensuring the use of materials and support substances according to specific requirements. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience within Oil & Gas Industry. Have the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Have good mechanical skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment. Have good problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills. Have the ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers. Have experience and knowledge within the subsea segment such as trees, chokes, IWOCS, controls systems (preferred).
