About The Company Our client is a global leader in heavy diesel engines and power generation across multiple industries. The Role As a Work Shop Technician operating in Darwin, you will be exposed to the latest technology and developed to be capable of working on a wide range of equipment. You will perform all manner of repairs, reconditioning and troubleshooting on heavy diesel engines with mining applications. You'll get the chance to work on a large variety of OEM engines and equipment, learning from established industry professionals. Furthering good relationships with colleagues and customers in the Service Centre means your technical and communication skills will play a key role in success. Key responsibilities:Deliver a first-class service to our mining customersPerform breakdown and preventative maintenance on a variety of mining and mobile plant equipmentCarry out engine reconditioning services including, stripping, troubleshooting and rebuildsFill out job reports using internal softwareWorking on state-of-the-art high horse power diesel enginesRequirements:An Australian recognised trade cert III in the following (Heavy Vehicle/Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle)Demonstrable experience working on engine reconditioning, repairs and rebuildsGood teamwork and communication skillsBenefits:15% leave loading paid when Annual Leave is takenOvertime opportunitiesFull technical training on brand new enginesTool allowance Next Step If you are an experienced Workshop Technician with a passion for state of the art heavy diesel engines and the desire to join a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
