An exciting opportunity to join our Purfleet branch at the heart of all workshop activity. You will be an organised people leader, with proven workshop experience, who encourages and promotes a team environment. You will manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, support, and ensuring a safe place to work, through excellent Health and Safety protocols. You will be passionate about the efficient running of the Workshop and pro-active communication, delivering a fantastic service to all customers.
Key responsibilities: Oversee and organise the workshop team whilst managing productivity and efficiencies. Be the go-to for any support required for Technician and workshop staff. Provide technical knowledge to your team of technicians as well as customers when required. Ensure all work is authorised to a high standard. Promote high standards on job card write up to prevent warranty rejections. Mentor apprentices to empower them to become the future of tomorrow.
