Add expected salary to your profile for insightsORONTIDE is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Port Hedland based team.About the RoleReporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise the performance of an excellent team of skilled and trained people within our Fabrication, Mechanical and tiling workshops.This is not a FIFO role; candidates must either reside in Port Hedland or be willing to relocate with Relocation and Housing allowance assistance approved for the right candidate.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Complete jobs that meet or exceed client quality requirements and are produced on time and on budget.Continued development of a skilled group of personnel working as a team to achieve our outputs.Experience in providing accurate quotations.Ensure Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance.To produce Manufacturer's Data Reports (MDR's) and other supporting materials as required.Demonstrate strong leadership skills.Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement.To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:Relevant Trade Qualification - Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitter/BMW/Fabrication Trade.Experience in Supervising workshop operations.Well-developed communication and leadership skills.The ability to quickly adapt to changes in job priorities.The demonstrated ability to ensure that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget.Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations.The demonstrated ability to lead in the area of Health and Safety.Why Orontide?Here at Orontide, we embrace change, new ideas and promote a culture of innovation, respect and equal opportunity.
