In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless coordination of production activities and the management of workshop operations to meet their quality standards and production targets.Key Responsibilities:Oversee repairs to crushers, OEM and heavy duty mobile plant.Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely delivery of products. Coordinate repair activities to meet customer commitments.Resource Allocation: Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production and repair goals while optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet company standards and customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and corrective actions as necessary.Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe work environment for all employees.Customer Relationship Management: Act as a point of contact for customers, providing updates on repair status, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels for raw materials and repair parts, coordinating with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a diverse team of 6 people fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align goals and priorities, providing updates on production and repair activities, challenges, and solutions.Qualifications:3-5 years of management experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.Someone from an on the tools trade background would be ideal.Certification in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams.Proven ability to improve processes and drive operational excellence.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).What We Offer:$130,000 pa + vehicle.Ongoing support from management, safety, and HR teams to help you succeed in your role.A clear direction and expectations for your responsibilities.A dynamic and supportive work environment that values initiative, leadership, and a commitment to safety.Join Us:If you are a motivated professional ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you!Apply today to become a key member of our client's team and help us drive forward in achieving their goals.
