Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert:Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:WesTrac is seeking a Supervisor to join our Rebuilds Workshop in Mt Thorley.Our Rebuilds Workshop is responsible for completing machine overhauls and repairs on open-cut mining equipment for some of our biggest customers throughout NSW.Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operations of the workshop. You will lead a large team comprised of plant mechanics, apprentices and trades assistants to ensure all machines leaving the workshop are in optimal working order. This role will see you working alongside other supervisors and the project management team to ensure work orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standard.This is a Monday – Friday role, dayshift only.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of tradespeople and apprentices and allocate work to ensure project timelines are metIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the business.Promote and demonstrate safety behaviours and reporting processes to ensure an ongoing safe working environment and the resolution of identified hazardsProvide support and advice to the team as required to ensure minimal delays in jobsEffectively manage work orders to ensure productivity targets and quality standards are metSkills & ExperienceMechanical or Electrical trade qualification and/or experience with mobile plant maintenance essentialComputer literate with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office packageAbility to prioritise workload, manage time and delegate effectivelyDemonstrated ability to coach team members for high performanceValues based approach to leadershipFamiliarity with Caterpillar earth moving equipment or similar is highly desirableFitness Passport for the whole familyRelocation Assistance Available12 Weeks paid parental leaveNovated leasing optionsPurchase Leave programOpportunities for growth and developmentFurther education assistance programEmployee Wellness ProgramDiscounted private health insuranceDiscounts with our corporate partnersApply NowTo be considered for this position please submit your application including resume and cover letter.
