This is a full-time role on a FIFO roster from Brisbane QLD to Orange NSW, 8 on / 6 off, DIDO and local candidates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities Lead a team of experienced Diesel Fitters.Coordinate the arrangement of daily activities tasked to the workshop fitters and subcontractors to ensure efficiencies of the repair and maintenance jobs.Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment, and light vehicles.Expedite and coordinate any emergency, delayed or potentially delayed repair and maintenance jobs.Carry out lockout and tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.Provide technical expertise to project teams and provide basic service training to plant operators where required.Essential Skills and Attributes Trade Qualification – Heavy PlantProven experience in servicing and repairing Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.Proven management skills, practices and planning ability.Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.Highly effective planning, organising and problem solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.What's next?If you would like to join our team and hold full, unlimited working rights in Australia, we encourage you to submit your CV.
