Work with industry-leading load and haul equipment in Mount Isa8:6 roster with 12-hour shiftsFIFO Brisbane or Townsville - DIDO Mount IsaWhat's on Offer Secure a long-term career with a leading mining OEM provider.Attractive 8:6 roster with 12-hour shifts for work-life balance.FIFO Brisbane or TownsvilleDIDO - Mount IsaBe part of a supportive and collaborative workshop team.Flights, accommodation, and meals provided.Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and execute major workshop projects, including machine builds, repairs, and technical diagnostics.Perform maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis work on load and haul equipment.Provide technical support and guidance for resolving complex issues.Mentor and upskill workshop personnel, improving technical expertise in load and haul equipment.Provide feedback for planning and operational improvements.Assist in compiling data for warranty claims and ensuring compliance with maintenance plans.About You
You are a skilled tradesperson with extensive experience in the underground mining sector, particularly in load and haul equipment.
You're committed to delivering high-quality work and sharing your expertise with your team.
Essential Skills and Experience: Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade Certificate.Extensive hands-on experience with underground mining equipment, especially load and haul equipment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.Desirable Skills and Experience: Over 7 years of post-trade experience in underground mining.Experience working in remote locations and adapting to different cultural dynamics.Expertise in delivering technical training to maintenance teams.Why Mount Isa?
