Workshop & Project Electrician

Salary: $46 – $60 / hour + Site Allowance for Project workCompany Overview:Hahn Electrical Contracting is an Australian owned and run company, established for over 30 years. An industry leader in our field, Hahn Electrical Contracting services major clients in the mining industry.Position Overview:Hahn Electrical Contracting are seeking Electricians to join our team based in our Perth workshop. Work on remote mine sites for project work and site relief also forms part of these permanent roles.Responsibilities:Workshop based activities working on mining equipment including starter panels, substations, jumbos and a variety of other mining equipment and industrial installation works based in our Perth workshop.Project work on mine sites on a FIFO or DIDO basis installing HV and LV cabling, switchgear, substations and associated electrical infrastructure.Site shift relief on a FIFO basis where you will be responsible for installation and preventative maintenance of all underground electrical infrastructures including switchboards, HV and LV supply cables, jumbo maintenance, jumbo trailing cables, ventilation systems, flygt pumps and underground lighting systems.
