Let's do the Work. About the role Due to internal growth and expansion, our Component Rebuilds Centre (CRC) here onsite at Tomago has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Supervisor to join their team.
Mentor and guide a team of 3 highly skilled Planners this role will report to the CRC Branch Manager and will primarily be responsible for the forecast and planning of the CRC Department to internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will use proactive methods of data collection, evaluation and tracking to oversee all planning activities in line with resources and agreed timelines.
The role supports the branch manager, workshop supervisors and planners through scheduling and demand planning reports to ensure peaks and troughs can be managed effectively.
In addition, this role will facilitate better planning, resource allocation, velocity and reduced cost while having a positive impact on customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Production Planning experience within a similar environment.Experience in nurturing leadership and fostering a cohesive team united by a shared vision.Mechanical Trade Qualification coupled with post-trade experience would be highly regarded.Demonstrated knowledge in working and understanding Equipment Maintenance and Planning/Scheduling concepts.High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability and drive to follow through with required actions.Formal planning and logistics qualifications.Caterpillar Experience will be highly regarded.Why Join WesTrac?
