Normet is seeking an experienced Workshop Mechanics to join our supportive and friendly team in Sydney.
As one of our Workshop Mechanics / Service Technicians, you will play a vital role in commissioning, servicing, and repairing Normet's underground machines.

Responsibilities Conducting commissioning, servicing and repairs of Normet and Clients underground machines:
Modification and/or repair of vehicle systems including: chassis, drivelines, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics and electricsManufacturing and fitting of electrical and mechanical componentsTesting and adjusting of all mechanical hydraulics, circuits and pneumatic componentsFault finding, repairing, replacing, and providing technical adviceCutting, grinding, drilling, welding, manufacturing of small components and fitting them to machinesInspection, analysis and recording critical mechanical information during the process of undertaking mechanical refurbishment workAll work to be performed safely and at a level of quality acceptable to both Normet and customer expectation.At Normet we believe our employees are the heart and soul of our company, we aim to provide everyone with opportunities to reach their full potential, valuing the differences of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
