Workshop Mechanic - Wangaratta

Porter Plant, a market leader in equipment maintenance management and dry hiring of plant, equipment and light commercial vehicles, currently have a vacancy for a qualified workshop diesel mechanic.
About the Role Based in our Wangaratta facility, you will apply your trade across a diverse range of assets, from heavy vehicles to earthmoving equipment ensuring that plant and equipment is safe, reliable and ready for our customers.
You will be responsible for: Routine servicing;Maintenance;Performing effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment;Overhauling of mechanical components.You will need to have: Trade qualification with relevant experience;Ability to work unsupervised;Excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills;Good computer skills for the completion of electronic work orders;Sound awareness of OH&S management principles.What's in it for you?
