Bicycle Superstore is looking to add a new mechanic to our fantastic My Ride Geelong team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team and have a network of other stores behind you for support. A critical member of the team, the Workshop Mechanic is responsible for consistently performing high-quality bicycle repairs and delivering an extraordinarily high level of customer service. You should have experience in the bike industry, be eager, and enthusiastic.
As a Workshop Mechanic, you'll receive regular training with industry-leading companies including SRAM, Bosch, and Scott to keep you on top of the latest technology and developments in the bike industry. Key Responsibilities/Skills: Experience with all facets of servicing, building, and repairing bicycles is a must.
Ability to maintain shop cleanliness and tidiness.
Retail/customer service experience.
Have an eye for detail.
Take pride in your work.
An absolute passion to be successful and lift the performance of the team.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Be organized with the ability to efficiently time manage and prioritize tasks.
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Understanding of the importance of accountability.
Exceptional negotiation and selling skills.
