Workshop Manager – Trucks and Earthmoving EquipmentWe are looking for a skilled Workshop Manager with a background in heavy diesel mechanics to lead our workshop operations for trucks and earthmoving equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the heavy diesel workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.Lead and manage a team of supervisors, mechanics, and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with industry regulations.Develop maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize uptime for clients' equipment.Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies in a timely manner.Ensure all work is completed to client specifications and meets quality standards.Foster a positive work environment that promotes professional development within the team.Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and provide updates on repairs.Qualifications:Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with proven experience in a supervisory or management role.Strong knowledge of heavy diesel machinery and repair techniques.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving goals.Prioritize tasks effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.This position is a Darwin-based position only; FIFO or relocation is not being offered at this time.
