Workshop Manager – Perth Branch Rentco – Heavy Truck & Trailer Hire Business About Us Rentco is a rapidly growing Heavy Truck & Trailer Hire business that was acquired by a large Private Equity firm with ambitious growth goals. Despite this, the company continues to be run under the leadership of its previous owner, maintaining a family-oriented atmosphere. We are now looking to expand our team in Perth and offer a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a mechanical background to join us as a Workshop Manager.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee the maintenance of our modern fleet of equipment. As part of our small and friendly team, you will have access to a well-equipped workshop and a great working environment. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a company experiencing significant growth, with an excellent negotiable pay rate for the right candidate. Training will be provided by the National Workshop Manager based in Melbourne and / or a Workshop Manager from the east coast.

Oversee all workshop activities, reporting directly to the Branch Manager and National Workshop Manager Perform repairs and maintenance in line with national standards, company policies, and procedures Allocate workshop tasks in coordination with our fleet control team Set and maintain workshop budgets and team KPIs Customer Service
Work with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure cost-efficient operations Communicate clearly with customers regarding inspections and service standards Manage or delegate 24/7 breakdown services and repairs Systems & Processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Use company business system InspHire for job card and maintenance record data entry Assist in the development of efficient business processes for workshop operations Skills and Experience 10+ years of workshop experience (desirable) 5+ years of team leadership experience (essential) Experience with Volvo drivetrains (desirable) Strong computer system skills (essential) Why Rentco?
