Mills Recruitment collaborates with a prominent Western Australian manufacturing company that seeks to recruit motivated and enthusiastic Workshop Labourer.
These individuals will join an already successful production team, contributing to the company's ongoing growth.
Workshop Labourer  Location:  Malaga, WA  Role Overview:  As a Workshop Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations at our client's facility.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining the pressure washer bay and sandblast booth and assisting with paint preparation work.
You'll collaborate across different areas of the site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Reporting to the Base Manager, you'll contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Pressure Wash Bay, Sandblast Booth, and Paint Booth: Perform pressure wash bay, sandblast booth, and paint booth tasks.
Ensure proper masking for quality paint jobs.
Alternate between areas to manage workload effectively.
Site Maintenance: Maintain the wash bay and keep all areas clean and tidy.
Responsible for site-wide cleaning, including yard, facilities, and donga areas.
Complete weekly inspection checklists and address any concerns promptly.
Communication and Reporting: Notify the Base Manager of full bins and areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Provide updates on LPG and Diesel levels on-site.
Ad Hoc Tasks and Priorities: Execute site maintenance tasks as directed by the Base Manager.
Collaborate with product lines and ICO to meet delivery requirements.
Assist in other areas as needed to achieve delivery targets.
5S Standards: Maintain a clean and organised site.
Conduct daily 5S audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Equipment Management: Properly maintain all equipment used.
Ensure equipment is fit for subsequent use.
Risk Management: Participate in daily TRA (Task Risk Assessment) board discussions.
Address risks promptly and proactively.
Forklift Work: Be prepared for constant FLT work (up to 16 tons).
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team.
