Based in the Dandenong branch, this role will see you prepare new Hitachi and Bell products to customer specifications, and provide quality diagnostics and maintenance services.You will be responsible for:* Diagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or specified times targeting improved job efficiency.* Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.* Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner.* Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports.* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.As the ideal candidate, you will have:* Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).* Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment and/or truck diagnostics.* Heavy Rigid and Forklift licence would be highly regarded.* A commitment to safety and strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.* Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEM.* Able to work within a team environment.Here at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
