Based in our Cavan branch, this role will see you prepare new earthmoving equipment to customer specifications and provide quality diagnostic, repair and maintenance service in a professional, timely manner.ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and or specified times targeting improved punctuality and job efficiency.Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipmentEnsuring all work carried out is performed in a safe mannerCompletion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reportsTo be successful in this role:Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Have previous experience with the overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipmentStrong technical knowledge and diagnostic abilityAn uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresStrong interpersonal, communication skills & the ability to work autonomously & within in a team environmentAt Hitachi, we value our people and work towards providing guidance on your career path towards a rewarding and successful experience.
