Based in the Somerton branch, this role will see you prepare new Hitachi and Bell products to customer specifications, and provide quality diagnostics and maintenance services.
You will be responsible for:
Diagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or specified times targeting improved job efficiency.Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipmentEnsuring all work carried out is performed in a safe mannerCompletion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reportsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAs the ideal candidate, you will have: Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment and/or truck diagnosticsHeavy Rigid and Forklift licence would be highly regardedA commitment to safety and strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principlesGood communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEMAble to work within a team environmentHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
