Roster Available: 2/1 rosterRole Located: Kalgoorlie, WA. FIFO from Perth.Earning Potential: Up to $184k plus superannuation paid on all hours worked. More on offer to Senior experienced HD Mechanics.
About the role: Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel trucks, dozers and ancillary mining equipment.Detect mechanical and electrical faults using instruments to check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, fuel injection systems, cylinder compression, engine condition, powertrain, and braking efficiency, as well as perform machine rebuilds.Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel that are used to power attachments such as hoists, booms, scrapers, buckets, and augers.Completing breakdown works, general servicing, component change outs, machine midlife and full machine rebuilds.What we are looking for: Demonstrable experience working on mobile plant equipment (MEM).Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu Mining Equipment.Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.Valid HR Manual Driver's Licence.What SMS can offer:At SMS we pride ourselves on our positive work culture and ability to deliver desired results.
