All Lift Forklifts & Access Equipment is a boutique family owned hire-sales-services company that specializes in the hire of forklifts, telehandlers, elevated work platforms, and some general hire.
We are in search of a skilled professional to lead our Workshop Team at our Newcastle Branch.
About Us
We are a family-owned and run forklift and access equipment rental and sales company based in Heatherbrae, NSW, and other eastern states.
Due to internal staff movements, a full-time position has become available to join our service department.
The Role
The Workshop Foreman will complete, delegate, and monitor tasks to our team of technicians.
Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment are required.
An action taker; Great organizational skills and process-oriented; Thrive in a fast-paced environment; Lead, mentor, and effectively manage the daily operations of the Workshop team; Effectively perform or allocate incoming work to ensure efficient completion to the highest possible standard; Ensure customer expectations and quality benchmarks are achieved; Ensure accurate completion of all workshop documentation as required by the manufacturer and group; Demonstrated prior experience in a similar or relevant role; Assist with the implementation and compliance with OHS policies and procedures; Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment; Great attention to detail; Have a safety-focused mindset.
Preferred candidates will have the following:
Mechanical Trade Certificate (Forklift Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or light vehicle); Competent IT skills and ability; Current driver's license; Forklift license (desirable); Solid understanding of diesel and hydraulics; Sense of urgency and ability to work within time frames.
