WORKSHOP FOREMAN - KALGOORLIE RESIDENTIAL 3D Earthmoving (2017) Pty Ltd is a Kalgoorlie based earthmoving company & is one of the largest Wet and Dry Tailings Dam lifters in Western Australia.
We are currently seeking a Workshop Foreman with earthmoving machinery experience. This position is full time Monday to Friday and available for an immediate start to join our team located in Kalgoorlie.
You must be living in Kalgoorlie to be successful in this role. Role Description The applicant will either be an experienced Workshop Foreman, or a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic looking to take the next step in their career. This role will see you managing day-to-day activities in our workshop. You will need to ensure safety and quality are met at all times. You will be responsible for supervisory tasks, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and to the required standard, whilst assisting, mentoring, and supporting the team in solving technical and operational problems which will continue to build our team dynamics and culture.
*Day Shift ONLY *Competitive Rates Duties would include: Have a solid understanding and knowledge on servicing and repairs and imparting this knowledge with staff. Working with a wide variety of equipment. Ensuring the health, safety and compliance of the team. Building and maintaining culture and cohesion in the workforce. Job allocation, workflow within workshop including the management of labour and scheduling. Oversee preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance for light and heavy vehicles. Manage and assist office staff with quoting, purchasing & ordering of materials & supplies. Alert management to both scheduled and un-scheduled downtime of key pieces of machinery & plant. Continued development of a skilled group of personnel working as a team to achieve our outputs. Have a team-based motivated approach to get the best out of your staff. Experience with the below is desired but not essential: Hitachi, CAT, Volvo, Komatsu and Doosan Excavators. Bobcat skid steer loader and excavator. The ideal candidate would possess the following: Minimum of 5 years experience of being a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic. Previous experience in a Foreman / Leadership role. Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test. Clean Police Clearance. A minimum of a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent. Outstanding diagnostic and problem solving skills. Good time management skills and being able to juggle several tasks. Effective communication in instructing, mentoring, and assisting all levels of people. #J-18808-Ljbffr
