About the role
Join a dynamic team as a Workshop Foreman, where you'll lead and inspire skilled technicians to deliver exceptional service.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, ensuring quality control, and providing hands-on guidance.
This role is essential in maintaining high standards in service and safety, ultimately ensuring customers' satisfaction and safety on the road.
Duties Assist technicians with complex diagnoses and repairsConduct road tests and quality control inspectionsFacilitate regular toolbox meetings and keep clear communication across departmentsSupport WHS standards and procedures in the workshopMentor and train staff, including apprentices and junior techniciansCollaborate closely with Service Advisors and the Service Manager on job allocationSkills and experience Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician (essential)Proven experience as a Senior Technician or ForemanStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsHR truck license (required)Excellent time management, communication, and mentoring abilitiesSafety and customer-focused with attention to detailBenefits Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pmSupport team and upper managementCompetitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + super17.5% leave loadingCompany VehicleHow to Apply
