JMS now has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Workshop Foreman based out of our Rockhampton Office to join our team to support the ongoing growth and expansion of business.
About the Role: In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the workshop daily operation.
Responsibilities: Team Management - leading and motivating employees, training and development of workforce including apprentices; Ensuring company policy and procedures are followed; Manage day-to-day operations of the workshop; Quality Assurance of all products to meet standards and compliance requirements; Develop and maintain a positive working relationship and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Required Skills & Experience: Class C Licence Forklift Licence - beneficial White Card - beneficial Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards Reading and interpreting drawings accurately Strong leadership and team management skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations Proficient in project management Duties include: Open and close workshop with consideration to business requirements Prepare and deliver Team pre-starts Lead team according to current and forecasted projects Ensure adequate resources, consumables and workshop equipment is in stock/serviced for work to commence on jobs Manage production timeframes as communicated by Project Managers/Management Complete/compliance with all documentation as required including Final QA Checks, Non-Conformance Reports Supervise outgoing goods - ensuring packed correctly, collected by freight company in a timely manner Full-time position Competitive Wage How to apply: To apply for this position, click APPLY NOW to submit your application or email your resume to Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a Workshop Foreperson?
