Tasks will involve but not be limited to the following:Maintaining a fleet of Waste collection vehicles and associated equipmentSupervise and manage the workshop and mechanical staffReporting requirementsAssist in staff training and developmentAssist if required in both major and minor repairsHelp manage emergency breakdowns as they ariseScheduled maintenanceThe successful applicant will possess:Experience in managing staffA current heavy rigid truck driver's licenseFamiliarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & SafetyGood communication and organisational skillsExperience in hydraulics, automotive electrics, or welding is not essential but would be an advantage, as would a forklift licence. Previous experience in a similar role would also be highly regarded.A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience.In accordance with our Company's recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.
