The Opportunity With strong growth in our Remanufacturing (Component rebuild) division, Hitachi is actively seeking a motivated individual to join the team in the position of Workshop Fitter.
This opportunity will see you overhaul a range of mining machine major components to OEM specifications in a professional, timely manner.
Based in our Forrestdale branch, you will also be responsible for:
You will be trained to perform major component overhauls on a wide range of componentsEnsuring all work carried out is performed in a safe mannerCompletion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reportsMaintain a clean and tidy working environment in line with the company's 5S standardsTo be successful in this role:
You will have a relevant trade qualificationHave a strong mechanical aptitude and be willing to learnHigh Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) would be highly regardedA safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principlesGood communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEM
