Workshop Fitter

Seeking Mechanical Fitters for local Mackay workshop shutdown commencing ASAP.

Fitters wanted for a 5 month project starting immediately for a local Mackay workshop assisting the team.

Location: Mackay workshop

Hourly Rate: $60.00 per hour + full penalties

Project Length: 5 months of work through to March 2025

Shifts/Hours: Day shift 6am starts Monday to Friday with 10-12 hour shifts, potential half day Saturdays

Requirements: Trade certificate Ability to pass pre-employment medical High risk licenses (advantageous) The scope of work will be assembly of componentry associated with Longwall AFC and BSL, assembly of sprockets and shafts, and assisting with hosing of manifolds.

Only candidates who reside locally in Mackay or are willing to provide their own accommodation will be considered.
