Workshop & Field Service Diesel Mechanic - Tas

Description We are seeking an energetic and team-oriented Workshop / Field Service Diesel Mechanic to be based in Launceston. The successful applicant will enjoy a good variety of field service and workshop duties on a range of plant, vehicles, and equipment. You will carry out servicing, repairs, and planned maintenance on road and earthmoving equipment.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills: Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experienceManual HR license (not essential)Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipmentAbility to work unsupervisedPossess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on"Be experienced in servicing both passenger and heavy vehiclesCarry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective mannerHave excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skillsDemonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principlesMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screenResponsibilities You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer-focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation, and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety-conscious environment.
