We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Workshop / Field ServiceDiesel Mechanic to be based in Launceston. The successful applicant will enjoy a good variety of field service and workshop duties on a range of plant, vehicles and equipment. You will carry out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance on road and earthmoving equipment.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills: Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experienceManual HR license (not essential)Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipmentAbility to work unsupervisedPossess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on"Be experienced in servicing of both passenger and heavy vehiclesCarry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective mannerHave excellent organizational, communication and reporting skillsDemonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principlesMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen Responsibilities You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
