Are you an experienced Operations Manager with strong leadership skills and a passion for ensuring efficient and safe workplace practices? We are seeking a highly motivated Workshop & Facility Manager to oversee our operations, including workshop management, customer satisfaction, safety, and facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee OHS compliance, safety toolbox meetings, and pre-starts Ensure effective housekeeping, site access control, and incident reporting Schedule safety and toolbox meetings regularly to maintain a culture of safety Handle customer complaints, follow-ups, and deliverables Oversee warranty management and ensure high customer satisfaction Plan and schedule jobs for workshop staff, field service teams, and mobile servicing Provide leadership and direction to workshop technicians, administration teams, and apprentices Conduct performance reviews, manage day-to-day operations, and support employee development through training and mentorship Oversee quality control activities, including QA documentation and reliability follow-ups Verify scope and quotes to ensure high standards of work are met Plan and schedule incoming logistics, truck movements, and maintenance Maintain operational software development, leave management, and process implementation Ensure regular fleet maintenance, scrapping, and disposal Oversee facilities management for Mackay and Proserpine, including fire safety, plumbing, waste management, and maintenance Ensure site safety and environmental compliance, managing inspections and repairs. Desired Skills & Experience: Proven experience in workshop and facility management, with a solid understanding of operational procedures, safety, and customer satisfaction Strong leadership, people management, and mentorship abilities Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with fleet management, quality control processes, and facilities maintenance Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and vendors If you're an operations expert with a passion for ensuring smooth and efficient workshop and facilities operations, we'd love to hear from you!
