Workshop Drill Fitter

The Opportunity:Groundbreaking Mining Solutions (GMS) is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Forrestdale workshop team in Perth. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you'll engage in drill rig re-builds, fault finding, and commissioning, with opportunities for career progression.Ideal candidates will have relevant trade qualifications, with skills in hydraulics, auto-electrics, and diagnostics. Equipment experience with Pit Viper 271 builds and D65 is desired, but not essential.The successful applicant will have:Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Auto Electrical, Hydraulic, or a related field.Experience with Epiroc Pit Viper 271 and D65 drill rigsPrevious experience in a similar roleAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience in fault finding & breakdowns.Skills in fabrication and weldingLF, DG, and CN tickets are highly desirable but not essential; we will provide the necessary certifications for the right candidateThe benefits:9.5hr days, hours 0600-1600 Monday-ThursdayBBQ and 2pm finish on Fridays.Perth based workshop located in ForrestdaleCareer progression, could eventuate into a leading hand roleOpportunity to work on a variety of drill rigs like Epiroc, Sandvik & CATWork in a class leading workshop run by a class leading team.About GMS:Groundbreaking Mining Solutions are proudly integrated with the TASMEA Group of companies.
