The Opportunity:
Groundbreaking Mining Solutions (GMS) is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Forrestdale workshop team in Perth. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you'll engage in drill rig re-builds, fault finding, and commissioning, with opportunities for career progression.
Ideal candidates will have relevant trade qualifications, with skills in hydraulics, auto-electrics, and diagnostics. Equipment experience with Pit Viper 271 builds and D65 is desired, but not essential.
The successful applicant will have: Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Auto Electrical, Hydraulic, or a related field. Experience with Epiroc Pit Viper 271 and D65 drill rigs Previous experience in a similar role Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in fault finding & breakdowns. Skills in fabrication and welding LF, DG, and CN tickets are highly desirable but not essential; we will provide the necessary certifications for the right candidate The benefits: 9.5hr days, hours 0600-1600 Monday-Thursday BBQ and 2pm finish on Fridays. Perth based workshop located in Forrestdale Career progression, could eventuate into a leading hand role Opportunity to work on a variety of drill rigs like Epiroc, Sandvik & CAT Work in a class leading workshop run by a class leading team.
