The Bradfield Development Authority (WPCA) is seeking a dedicated Workshop Coordinator to join our team at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF).
In this role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the workshop, coordinating and tracking all scheduled tasks, integrating AMRF equipment, and overseeing procurement and asset management processes.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining timely and accurate operations, ensuring that all workshop requirements are met without delays.
As a Workshop Coordinator, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide expert advice to stakeholders, and maintain high levels of organisation and attention to detail.
Your role will be essential in driving productivity improvements and supporting the growth of high-value jobs within the NSW manufacturing industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders regarding workshop operations and supply chain management.Proven experience in manufacturing or operations coordination and planning.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely completion without compromising on detail.Expertise in tracking and managing procurement processes, maintaining precise inventory records.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve project outcomes.Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and professionalism.Intermediate capabilities in project management, effective communication, and delivering results within set budgets and timeframes.What is an essential requirement: Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience.Ability to communicate and negotiate with all relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to the workshop operations; and supply of material and tooling/equipment from suppliers.Working knowledge of manufacturing or operations coordination and planning.About us The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) improves the liveability and prosperity of NSW.
