Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate daily workshop activities efficiently, ensuring optimal workflow and the timely completion of service and repair tasks.- Supervise and mentor a team of skilled technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.- Monitor and uphold high-quality standards in service delivery, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.- Collaborate with the Service Manager to optimize resource allocation and achieve departmental goals.- Apply technical expertise to assist technicians in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Requirements:- Demonstrated experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role.- A strong technical background with an in-depth understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Role Overview:As workshop controller, you'll ensure all work on vehicles in the dealership is carried out appropriately.
This involves assigning work to vehicle technicians and liaising with service departments.
The role includes ensuring quality control, ordering parts, conducting audits on the team's work, and maintaining general compliance.
A focus on upholding the correct health and safety standards/procedures is also crucial.
