About the Role Primo Foods is seeking a Workplace Trainer and Assessor to join the team for our Wacol DC department.
This role will focus on delivering training in-line with our training matrix to remain compliant.
Your responsibilities will include: Delivery of training programsDeliver training, advice and guidance to students throughout their learning experienceDelivery of training by using a variety of methods (classroom, virtual, on-the-job, e-Learning and general discussions)Conduct assessmentsIdentify areas for improvement and advise recommended changes to Training LeadWork with Primo WH&S and FSQA department to follow standards and quality assurance practicesStudent coordination and supportFirst point of contact for QDC student supportSupport students to understand expectationsHelp students to learn and develop skillsIdentify learning needsProvide additional assistance where LLN/disability is identified and requires reasonable adjustmentEnsure students are supervised and safe at all timesGeneral administrationTracking progress of students via Learning Management SystemAssist in scheduling training and assessment of students based on site requirementsCheck accuracy of paperwork and ensuring student requirements are metReview and update task descriptions and task assessmentsAbout you: Ability to support others and encourage learningResponds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focusAbility to consider others' perspectivesComputer literacy MS Word and OutlookCertificate IV in Training and Assessment is required to undertake this positionDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and also within a team environmentMust be passionate and willing to consider continuous improvement opportunitiesAbility to partner with site staff and support learning and development practicesSees an opportunity and acts in the best interest of all stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work within organisational and ASQA guidelines, policies and legislationMake self fully available as requiredWhy work for Primo?
