Workplace Relations & Safety lawyer (4-6 PAE)Our highly regarded WRS team are seeking an associate/SA lawyer to join the team.27th February, 2024About the TeamYou will join a well-respected employment team headed by our partners who are recognised by their peers as leaders in the field. The Melbourne team forms part of our national WRS Group with eight partners across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane.About the RoleAs a member of the team, you will act primarily for employers and work on a diverse range of matters relating to issues such as post-employment restraints, unfair or unlawful dismissal, industrial disputes, compliance with workplace laws, organisational change strategy and management, sexual harassment and bullying, and workplace health and safety, and complex workplace investigations.This is a great opportunity to undertake interesting and varied work with international, national and ASX-listed clients across a range of sectors in a supportive environment that fosters development under senior leaders.You will work on matters supervised by each partner. The work will relate to advice and representation of clients across a range of industries including health and aged care, professional services, property and construction, financial services, hospitality, retail, technology and government sectors.You will be trusted to gain, retain and develop client relationships and will actively participate in the marketing activities of the group, including writing articles for newsletters and bulletins, and attendance and presentation at client events.About YouYou will have experience working within a well-regarded employment practice with upwards of 4 years post-admission experience.You will have developed strong drafting skills, a highly tuned eye for detail and demonstrate an understanding, commensurate with your experience, of the Australian laws relating to:employment contracts;industrial relations;discrimination claims;workplace bullying;restraint of trade claims;transfer of business;Fair Work Act compliance; andwork health and safety.27th February, 2024About the TeamYou will join a well-respected employment team headed by our partners who are recognised by their peers as leaders in the field.
