More About the Role: This role is responsible for providing strategic advice, guidance and operational expertise on all things Workplace Relations. This role is the subject matter expert on Industrial Relations within the organisation across Australia.
You will play the lead role in the negotiation of all current Enterprise Agreements and the resolution of Workplace Relation disputes, capable of representing us in the Australian Fair Work Commission and other employment related jurisdictions as required. As well as providing coaching and advice on Employee Relations matters.
This role will work in close collaboration with the People & Culture Director and P&C Business Partners to ensure all employment matters are soundly managed.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing the IR StrategyNegotiating Enterprise AgreementsProvide subject matter advice and coaching on ER/IR mattersLead the preparation and management of a significant workplace dispute proceeding to Fair Work arbitrationCoordinate with external legal counsel on evidence gathering and case preparationManage stakeholder relationships with unions and employee representativesSupport witnesses through the dispute process, with particular attention to wellbeing and psychosocial considerationsAbout You Degree educated in either Human Resources, Industrial Relations or LawA minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior Industrial relations role working within AustraliaA strong knowledge and understanding of all employment related legislationThe ability to build trust and credible relationships and be a strong influencer without line authorityPrior experience working a predominantly in a large, complex, multi-site blue collar organisationAbility to travel interstate
