About us:
CQ Health's Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service.
The Division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and wellbeing, and engagement of our most important asset - 'our people'.
The Workforce Division unit comprises approximately 40 Human Resource (HR) practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
About the role:
Proactively deliver a range of expert activities across complex employment matters including the management of disciplinary, performance management and industrial processes; and the Queensland Health Employment Framework including policy advice, interpretation and application, complaints resolution, organisational change, and establishment management (including job evaluation).
Contribute toward and lead a wide range of complex employment strategies which facilitate innovative Human Resource and CQHHS initiatives.
About you: Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Human Resource Management would be well regarded.
Proven ability in the development of advice and support in complex case management of employee and industrial relations matters. Demonstrated high level knowledge of contemporary human resource policy, procedures, and relevant awards. Demonstrated high level skills in communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal relations, with capacity to interact effectively with a broad range of staff and maintain professional relationships with their representatives. Total remuneration value of up to $165,281 p.a.
