This is a newly created role and will give the successful candidate the ability to make their mark. Working closely with the General Manager People and Culture, the Workplace Relations Advisor will support senior stakeholders with the negotiation of commercially sustainable and compliant enterprise agreements, where the needs of Pentarch and employees are balanced and industrial harmony maintained.This is a Permanent, Full-Time position supporting day-to-day operations. This is a broad role which may include assisting in the planning and attendance at any conciliations, hearings and conferences at the Fair Work Commission, as well as the training and upskilling of business leaders, and managing complex ER & IR cases.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting day-to-day operations by being a point of contact to provide practical expert advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders on a wide range of workplace relations issues, including any changes to employment legislation, or workplace relations matters;Assist with planning and business analysis to support enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring activities are aligned to organisational objectives and legislative requirements;Work on the prevention and resolution of disputes & grievances, in addition to assisting with employee and union consultations and case management matters;Deliver training to upskill business leaders on employment law and provide coaching on matters such as Right of Entry, Consultation, Facilitative Provisions, Unfair Dismissal, General Protections etc;Assist with the planning and preparation for attendance at conciliations, hearings and conference at the Fair Work Commission.To be successful in this role you will have:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Employment Law, Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations;A minimum of three years postgraduate experience in a similar role within a blue collared business with multiple enterprise agreements;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide insightful and compliant support, solutions and advice;The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders;High attention to detail when drafting, reviewing and interpreting documents such as employment contracts, policy documents, and legal correspondence;Count communication as a key strength, being able to clearly express thoughts and ideas effectively to all people at all levels of Pentarch and other stakeholders.In return, we offer:A secure permanent role with the opportunity to grow your current skills, knowledge, and career.Competitive salary package, with participation in a bonus scheme.Hybrid working arrangement - our anchor days in the office are Monday & Wednesday with one other day of your choosing (2 days working from home).Southbank based office close to public transport, with on site-parking and free gym access.A supportive team and positive work environment.Opportunity to play a part in continuing to drive the businesses agenda from a people and culture perspective and deliver support and advice that makes a difference.Successful Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and undergo a police check.To join us and become a vital part of our mission apply now.
