About the NRA The National Retail Association (NRA) is a not-for-profit organisation that proudly represents the interests of retailers across Australia, with our primary aim to help our members grow and prosper by providing specialised knowledge and expertise.
We are currently looking to engage a Workplace Relations Advisor to join our growing team.
About the role In the role, you will provide advice to an impressive client and member base of employers, including some of Australia's most recognisable brands. You will have exposure to a range of matters across all aspects of workplace relations, including modern award and Fair Work Act compliance, enterprise bargaining, litigation in the Fair Work Commission including unfair dismissal, general protections and bullying claims, WHS and general advisory matters regarding employment contracts, policies, restraint, injury and illness.
The successful applicant will have:
• 1-3 years' experience providing advice on human resources and workplace relations matters
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Whilst not essential for the role, candidates who are legally qualified will be highly regarded
A unique aspect of the role is that the National Retail Association regularly contributes to parliamentary inquiries and matters of significance before the Fair Work Commission, including the Annual Wage Review. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to this important industrial relations policy and advocacy work.
