A Day in the Life: Your day to day will involve the following tasks and responsibilities: Identify non-compliance with planning legislation and regulations. Apply technical knowledge to make informed decisions on inspections and penalties. Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and enforce regulations promptly. Provide transparent and consistent advice, demonstrating integrity and judgment. Base recommendations on risk assessment and compliance strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including residents and industry professionals. Maintain clear and factual records for legal compliance. Respond to community complaints about non-compliant activities. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to organizational excellence by sharing process improvements. Uphold professional and ethical standards, prioritize tasks, and seek solutions collaboratively. Undertake additional duties as directed within the scope of skills and training.
