Interested in a diverse role? We are seeking a passionate Health & Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Ramsay Health Care is Australia's largest private hospital operator, with more than 70 modern hospitals, clinics and surgical centres across the country.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at our Mt Wilga facility, a dedicated 112 room rehabilitation hospital and day therapy centre located in the beautiful bushland suburb of Hornsby.
What You'll Be Doing: As the WHS Coordinator, you'll take the lead on WHS across your facilities, working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include: Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.What You'll Bring: To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.Proven ability to work autonomously.Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills.Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.Why Join Our Team? What You'll Be Paid: This is a permanent part-time position - 45.6 hours a fortnight, reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager.
We offer a base annual salary of $110k - $115k ($66 - $69k pro-rata) + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
